Maria Theresia Meier Gibbs

Maria Theresia Meier Gibbs passed away at the age of 80. She was born February 4, 1944 in Munich, Germany. She entered eternal rest on February 12, 2024.
 
 Maria was married to the love of her life, Cecil Odel Gibbs, over 35 years residing in Shiloh, Louisiana. Maria was always helpful and had a huge heart when it came to her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, hunting, and fishing.
 
 Maria is preceded in death by her parents, Hans and Friederike Meier; her beloved husband, Cecil Odel Gibbs; daughter, Donna Marie Shomette; one brother and one sister. Left to cherish her memory are two brothers, her daughter, Gina Anderson and husband, David; grandchildren, Brandon Lucero and wife, Tiffany, great-grandchildren, Lucas and Lucy;  son, Tim McDearmont and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren Cameron and Isabella McDearmont; stepdaughters, Angela Giddens Bowlinger, Alecca Rhyna Offer and husband, Bill; her grandchildren, James Giddens, Jr. and wife, Tami, Bo Offer and wife, Nicole, Travis Offer and wife, Teyan, Emillee Giddens, Elizabeth Beach and husband, Preston, Brianna Bowlinger, Hannah Bowlinger; along with numerous great-grandchildren.
