Margie Kay Brown Culver

On May 2, 2024, Heavens gates opened to welcome a true angel. Margie Kay Brown Culver went home to be with her Heavenly Father. She was an amazing woman of God her entire redeemed life. She was a woman of prayer for everyone in her life and considered it an honor to speak people’s names before the throne of God. She was the matriarch for her entire family. 

 

Margie is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 63 years, Billy James Culver; two daughters, Robin Shows and Lisa Broom; three granddaughters, Micah Barton, Mikkale Skinner, Taylor Lindsey and spouse, Taylor, and son, Gabe Lindsey; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Russell and Isabella Spearsbrother, Arvie Brown; and sister, Nela Kerry.
 
 

She is preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers, Garnie Norman, Dorothy Wilson, Claudia Watson, Betty Ferguson, Mary Jacoby, Allen Brown and Lee Gene Brown, along with countless nieces and nephews.
 
 

A graveside service for Margie will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 12:30 p.m.  at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Monday, May 6, 2024, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Pastor Kendall Holley.
