Margie E Ivey

Shreveport, LA - Graveside service for Margie E. Ivey, 78 will be held at Forest Park West Cemetery, with Rev. Tom Brown officiating. Services are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Southside Chapel. Margie was born March 24, 1942 in Epps, LA, the daughter of Charles and Allie Hood. She passed away Wednesday, march 25, 2020 in Shreveport, LA. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Dorothy Sepulvado and her brother, Charles Hood. When Margie was able she loved to cook and spend time outdoors working in her yard and flower gardens. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 29 years, Albert E. Ivey, daughters, Sharon Speir, Brenda Turk Addy and Debra Bird; step-daughter, Lettie Ivey; 9 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson, Russell Yarbrough. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Shannon Poole Dewayne Poole, Scott Yarbrough and Matthew Hart. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Yarbrough and Ashton Yarbrough.
