TUSCALOOSA, AL: Graveside services will be held for Mrs. Margaret Diane Stack Ross, age 76, at Rocky Springs Cemetery in Lisbon, LA, on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. Mrs. Ross was born January 11, 1944, in Shreveport, LA, to John E. "Jack" Stack, Jr., and Madge English Stack. She entered into rest on Saturday, December 19, 2020, in Tuscaloosa, AL. Mrs. Ross was in the Meridian High School class of 1962. After high school she attended Mississippi College and Baylor University. She married Samuel Gifford Ross in her early 20s and they had four children. Her and Samuel lived in Huntsville, AL and then Tuscaloosa, AL. She was an exceptionally talented pianist and artist. She had a great sense of humor and was a lot of fun to be around. We all miss her very much. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her two sons, John Ross of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Steve Ross of Dallas, TX; two daughters, Deanna Ross of Dallas, TX, and Elizabeth Ross Crump of Greensboro, AL; two brothers, Charles S. Stack of Jackson, MS, and John E. Stack, III, of Dubach, LA; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
