Marcus Wyatt Bevill

Graveside memorial services were held for Marcus Wyatt Bevill, 50, at the Whitehall Cemetery near Leton, LA on Monday, March 24,2014, at 1:30 pm with Rev. Jerry Gill officiating. Marcus was born July 12, 1963 to Marion Wyatt Bevill and Madge Virginia Edwards Bevill. He was raised in Haynesville and was a member of the Haynesville AAU Swim Team, where he set records in Freestyle. Marcus worked as a carpenter and a motorman on a drilling rig. He entered into rest Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in Homer, LA following a short illness. He is survived by his parents, Madge and Wyatt Bevill of Homer, LA; one daughter, Shaunna Marie Flint and husband Daniel of Pike, NY; three sisters, Marsha Bevill of Homer, Melody Gregg and husband, Harvey of Sterlington, LA and Michelle Tuggle and husband, Russell of Homer; two grandchildren, Kyra May Flint and Addison Lee Flint; niece, Morgan Leigh Lafitte of Shreveport, LA; nephew, Jonathan Mark Lafitte of Dry Prong, LA; and numerous other relatives from New York to California. For friends considering memorials to Marcus, his family suggests the American Lung Association, the National Depressive and Manic Depressive Association or St. Jude.
