Marcia "Jean" Gatti

Marcia “Jean” Westbrook Gatti entered this world on Thursday, November 12, 1942, in Atlanta, Texas, to Hubert Gaston Westbrook and Faye Bruce Thomas Westbrook.

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, a day before her 83rd birthday, surrounded by her beloved husband, Robert, her nephew, Tom Gatti, and two of her sons, Robbie and Ryan, she went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A visitation celebrating Jean’s life will be held Monday, November 17, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. A Rosary will follow at 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church in Benton, Louisiana, officiated by Monsignor Earl Provenza and assisted by Father Karl Daigle. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery on Swan Lake Road. Afterward, the family invites all friends and loved ones to join them for lunch at The Stable on Swan Lake Road.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Randal “Randy” Scott Gatti; her granddaughter, Rebecca Leigh Gatti; her sister, Sandra Westbrook Bartlette; her brother-in-law, Billy Don Maples; and Jennifer Turner Gatti.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Robert Hal Gatti, Sr.; her sons, Robbie Gatti and wife, Suzanne, Ryan Gatti and wife, Susan, and Regan Gatti; her nephew, Tom Gatti, whom she cherished as one of her own; and her sister, Sharon Maples.

Jean was the heart of her home and the steady strength of the Gatti family. She lived out her faith in daily acts of love, raising her children with devotion, supporting her family with humility, and blessing every generation with her kindness. Her warmth filled every room she entered, and her gentle presence brought peace to all who knew her. She never met a stranger.

She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherished family traditions, and was an excellent cook. Jean had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and deeply loved. She loved her family with her whole heart, and she will be profoundly missed.

She enjoyed simple joys, working in her yard, cooking for family, and keeping a home where there was always something warm on the stove for her sons and their friends.

As her family celebrates her homegoing, they take comfort knowing she is reunited with her beloved son, Randy, her parents, and the loved ones who awaited her in Heaven. She has heard the words she longed for all her life: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers, friends, and loved ones who surrounded Jean with love, support, and prayer in her final months.

Honoring Jean as pallbearers will be Robert Hal Gatti III, Hayden Gatti, JR Gatti, Rex Lamberton, Tom Gatti, and Brandon Perrigin. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Mark Rodie, Jeff Wyatt, Ryan Haygood, Butch Santoro, Robert Baylis, Dave Kendrick, and Michael Maples.
