Mamie Dorothy "Dot" McIntyre

Minden, LA Memorial services for Mamie "Dot" McIntyre will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana with Chaplain Buster Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends at 12 noon Saturday prior to service time. Dot was born November 15, 1920 in Grove, Louisiana and entered into rest January 1, 2020 in Minden, Louisiana. Longtime resident of Evergreen and attended Evergreen High School. After high school she attended barber school and was in this profession for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents William Riley and Onie Sikes McIntyre, sister Mary Heflin, and brothers, William "Bill" McIntyre, Grady McIntyre, Mady "Bud" McIntyre and John McIntyre. She is survived by her nieces Billie Brewer, Carriel Nelson, Judy Lacinak and husband Bill, Nancy Burrell, Sherry Briggs, and Julia Mahoney, nephews, Doug Burt and Johnny McIntyre, and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.
