Major Robert "Bob" Jensen, USAF (Ret.)

A celebration of life will be held for Major Robert Jensen, USAF (Ret.), 74, on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Bellaire Baptist Church, 1210 Bellaire Blvd., Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Randy Harper.

Bob was born on May 18, 1951, to Ret. USAF Robert and Evelyn Jensen in Newfoundland, Canada, and passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Bob was married to his high school sweetheart for 54 years. He established a strong career in the United States Air Force, retiring after 23 years as a Major. After retirement, he worked at Harley-Davidson and Stonebridge Golf Course. He was extremely educated and passionate about golf, the Hawaiian beaches, and art, with his top priority being family. He was a loving husband, supportive dad, and silly Granddad. Bob loved the Lord, America, his family, and oil painting. Even though he is no longer with us on Earth, he is at his permanent address in Heaven and will see him again. "I have fought the good fight, I finished the race, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4:7

Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Boyd Jensen; daughters, Julie Davis and husband, Jamie, and Stephanie Morris and husband, Chris; and five grandchildren: Cade Davis and wife, Amanda, and their daughter, Lily; Ella Davis; Abram Morris; Jack Morris; and Luke Morris. He is also survived by his siblings, Randy and wife, Pennie; Lori; and Art and wife, Deb; as well as numerous extended family members and their children.

The family is extremely grateful for the kindness given by Ochsner LSU Health, Dr. Gothikonda, RN Chandra, Fletcher Booth, Pastor Randy Harper, and wife, Vicki, Kenyon and Teresa Ackeberg, and all the prayer warriors.
