Madolyn Irene Horn Martin

Madolyn Irene Horn Martin was born February 14, 1947. A lifelong resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, Madolyn passed away to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 17, 2026. 

Madolyn loved to laugh and make others laugh. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

Madolyn was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte Ray, and her son, Robbie Chandler. She is survived by her husband, Keith Martin, her grandchildren, Margaret Hartman and her husband, Anthony of Oklahoma, and Andy Higgins of Georgia, and two great-grandchildren, Liam and Miriam.

Madolyn worked for many years at Eldorado Casino & Hotel and Horseshoe Casino & Hotel as a cashier. She loved dogs and had several over the years. She also loved to listen to live music and visit with friends and family at special events and family gatherings. She will be missed by her entire family. 

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at Willis-Knighton Pierremont for their compassionate care. The family suggests that any memorials be made to the Humane Society of Northwest Louisiana.
