SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Mable Louise Mancil, 81, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Rose Park Baptist Church with Rev. Rocky Maddox officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Mancil was born November 29, 1933 in Benson, LA and passed away June 25, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Louis Burr; mother, Rosie Pipps Burr; step-mother, Addie Burr and several siblings. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Robert G. Mancil, Jr.; son, Stephen M. Prudhome (Kathy); daughters, Joy Prudhome Gross, Beverly Prudhome Sayers (Terry); step-son, Robert G. Mancil, III (Mary Jo); stepdaughters, Cherry Mancil Taliaferro (Richard), Robin Mancil; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Burnes Burr, Donald Burr (Jane); sisters, Catherine Davis, Barbara Brown (Billy) and Charlene Todd (Lloyd). Honoring Mrs. Mancil as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
