Bossier City, LA - Funeral services for Mable Jeanette Woolsey, 81, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2020 at Rose-Neath\'s Bossier Chapel, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, LA 71111. Officiating will be Rev. John Campbell of Benton United Pentecostal Church, Benton, LA. Interment will follow at Rocky Mt. Cemetery, near Ringgold, LA. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mable was born on Sunday, June 12, 1938 in Delhi, LA the daughter of Archie S. and Susie Morgan Jasper. She passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 in Shreveport, LA. Mable was a loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother who loved her family dearly. A light has dimmed with the passing of this great Matriarch. She had many talents but her most favorite hobby was sewing and quilting. An art not many know of today.
Mable was preceded in death by her dad, Archie S. Jasper and mom, Susie Mable Carmack; sister, Janice Harrison; granddaughter, Amanda Foy; grandson, Kenneth Dewayne and step-father, Raymond Carmack.
Left to cherish her sweet memory are her sons, A.J. Foy, Sr. and wife, Debbie of Benton, LA, R.J. Foy of Bossier City, LA, C.J. Foy and wife, Chelly of Benton, LA and Archie Andrew Foy of Ringgold, LA; her precious daughters, Mavis Davis of Blanchard, LA, Melba Baker of Bossier City, LA and Marilyn Kopf and husband, Kenneth of Monroe, LA; brother, Archie Ray Jasper, Sr. of Texarkana, AR; twenty grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
Honoring Mable as pallbearers will be A.J. Foy, Jr., Jasper Foy, Jason Laclair, Anthony Foy, Dimitri Baker and Ander Foy. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Foster, Archie Harrison, Austin Foy, Christopher Foy and Bradley Foy.
