Lynne Marie Beaird

Funeral services for Lynne Marie Poston Beaird, 67, will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport. A visitation will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rose-Neath. Lynne was born on August 25, 1954 to Robert Lynn Poston and Audrey Marie Schum Poston in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 in Shreveport. Lynne was a resident of Shreveport and a graduate of Southwood High School. She worked as an eligibility determiner for the Office of Medicaid of Louisiana. She was a loving and devoted wife of 46 years to her husband, George Russell Beaird, as well as being a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to travel the United States with her family where they spent many wonderful vacations together. She supported her children through Scouts, 4-H, and taught Sunday School. She was an avid Bunco player and loved dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, George Russell Beaird; sons, Bobby Beaird and husband, Matt Patterson, and Billy Beaird and wife, Hayley; grandsons, Parker Beaird and Landon Beaird; and brother, Tommy Poston. Honoring Lynne as pallbearers will be Billy Beaird, Bobby Beaird, Josh Lowe, Bryan Foster, Chris Beaird, and Ken Beaird. The family would like to express special thanks to Garden Park Nursing Home for the care, compassion, and love given to Lynne during her time there. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to their favorite local pet shelter.
