Lyle Arvis Ross

Mr. Lyle Arvis Ross, 84, went to his heavenly reward on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home. Mr. Ross was born on January 30, 1934 in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He was a land man in the oil and gas industry for many years and a truck driver for Tyson in Hope, AR until his retirement. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, pawpaw, father-in-law and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, Swinton Crocker Ross and Lucy Ross Clark of Natchitoches, LA and his brother, Scriven Ross. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sue Ross; sisters, Frances Shows and Lola Ross; children, Arvy Ross (Christine), Rosemary Rowell (Gary), Johnny Ross, Ronald Norman (Sonja), Sherry Gillespie (Joe), Russell Norman (Serina); grandchildren, Vanessa Riley (Jason), Chad Ross (Shannon), Heather Rowell, Meagan Brunson (Neil), Christopher Tucker (Jessica), Kaitlyn Norman, Dakota Norman, Ross Norman, Jessica Norman, Sarah Gillespie, Madeline Gillespie; great-grandchildren, Madison Ross, Natalie Ross, Swinton Ross, Isabella Riley, Azalea Brunson and Emerson Belle Tucker due in December. Mr. Ross was a good Christian man and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
