SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral Service for Luella Oliver Baker, 87, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2018, at Fellowship United Methodist Church, 4750 Barksdale Blvd, Bossier City, LA 71112. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Guo. Interment will be held at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, LA. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the funeral home.
Luella was born December 27, 1930 in Ferriday, LA to Leonard and Irma Oliver and passed away November 29, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. She retired from Schumpert Medical Center as a Registered Nurse with over 41 years of service. She loved sewing, gardening, passionate about her shopping. She dressed in detail, always had her makeup and her hair fixed. She loved her two dogs. Luella put others needs before her own, she had a love for her family like no other.
