Lucy Jarvis

Services celebrating the life of Lucy Bynog Jarvis will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2021, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. Visitation will be held 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at West Lake Baptist Church Cemetery, 2587 LA-16, Doyline, Louisiana 71023. Officiating the service will be Pastor Howard Hall. Lucy was born June 23, 1946, in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Andrew and Emma Bynog and passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 in Bossier City, Louisiana at the age of 75. She was a homemaker for 30 years. She loved red birds, playing board games and card games and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lucy is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, AW Bynog, W.L. Bynog, J.L. Bynog , Delmar Bynog, Carson Bynog and Ray Bynog. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bob Jarvis; daughter, Janice Zellner and husband, Mike; sons, Calvin Mathews and wife, Lisa and Alvin "Pete" Mathews; brother, Jimmy Bynog; grandchildren, Crystal Sellars and husband, Mike, Rodney Greer and wife, Amber, Brandi Normadine and husband, Jesse, Calvin Mathews Jr., Brandi Mathews and Kayla Mathews; great-grandchildren, Bryson Baker, Adyson Baker, Zayden Normadine, Gracie Sellars, Nathan Matthews, Tinsely Mathews, Kya Clark and Jensen Clark and a host of nieces and nephews.
