Lucille Roe Wells

Funeral services honoring the life of Mrs. Lucille Roe Wells, 100, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Wallace Baptist Church in the Wallace Community. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jeff Jinks. Interment will follow at Zions Rest Cemetery. Lucille was born on November 29, 1919 in Marthaville, Louisiana to Sam and Della Roe. She entered into rest on February 18, 2020 in Jonesboro, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Roy Edward Wells; son, Randy Wells; daughter, Betty Zane Allen; grandson, Wes Wells; sisters, Velma, Verda, Myrtle, Violet, Liz, and JoAnn; brothers, Felton and Robert. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Roy Milton Wells and Terry Wells; daughter, Genette Straughan; nineteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Honoring Mrs. Wells as pallbearers will be her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Forest Haven Nursing and Rehab for all of their care and support.
