Graveside services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lucetta Jannette Wyatt-Johnson, 88, of Anniston, AL will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (CST), at Mt. Zion Cemetery (1174 County Road 328, DeBerry, TX 75639). Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA 71118).

Per the family’s request, no public services will be held locally at this time. Personal invitations will be sent out for a celebration of Mrs. Johnson’s life, which will be held sometime in October.

Mrs. Johnson left this earthly life, gaining her eternal reward on Saturday, September 5, 2026, while surrounded by her loving family at her home.

Preceding Mrs. Johnson in death include her parents, William Case Wyatt II and Wilhelmina Anita Smith Wyatt; her husband, Earl P. Johnson; her grandson, Billy A. Fowler, Jr.; her brother, William Case Wyatt III; and her sister, Letha Josephine Rich.

Those left to cherish the precious memory of Mrs. Johnson include her children, Billy Aderian Fowler (Grace), Jerry Allen Fowler (Bonnie), Sherrie Darlene Cox, and Elya Yvette Lovvorn (Dennis); her grandchildren, Shawnia Christine Daniell, Carolyn McMillian (Bo), James A. Fowler, Aderian (Matt) Ward, Heather Fowler, Joshua Buie (Carissa), Chandler Buie (Lisa), Jerry Langford (Sonia), Paula (Duane) Farquhar, Amanda (Mikka) Phillips, Theresa Lovvorn, and Melinda (Wayne) Compton; great-grandchildren, Bo McMillian, Jr., Madilyn McMillian, Jason Fowler, Keith Ward, Morgan Ward, Mason Davis, Pehrson Lucio, Skylar Buie, Annaleigh Buie, Emire Buie, Madisyn Buie, Kyle Langford (Teresa), Garrett Langford, Reagan Langford, Hayden Langford, Dillon Langford, Blake Langford, Payton Phillips (Michaela Confer), Hannah Ohannessian (Hunter), Natalie Mulder (Tyler Chatterton), Rylan Mulder, Dennis Christopher Lovvorn II, Jeremy Morris, Jr., Kayleigh Lewis, Kierren Hickman (Cadeon), Lillian Waller, Lola Compton, Kadie Waller, Emery Compton, and Alexandra Rafferty; her great-great-grandchildren, Calliope Phillips, Anakin Phillips, Avelynn Fee, Theia Chatterton, Havens Chatterton, Alice Jo Hickman, Charlotte Hickman and Enoch Buie; along with her nephews, Billy Wyatt IV, JT Wyatt and Thomas Wyatt.

Mrs. Johnson was a devoted and faithful Christian. She loved her Lord and Savior and served him continually throughout her life. As a Methodist by faith, Mrs. Johnson was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waskom, TX as well as the First United Methodist Church in Weaver, AL. She served as the church treasurer in Weaver for several years, as well as being president of the Longview District United Methodist Women in Texas.

Mrs. Johnson was a long-time resident of Anniston, but a lifelong resident of Texas, living both in Houston and Waskom for many years. In her spare time, Mrs. Johnson enjoyed sewing, polishing rocks, and traveling back and forth to Texas to visit her grandchildren. She also liked to shop and socialize with her Life Group, family and friends. Mrs. Johnson loved working alongside her husband in their family business where she helped with accounting and clerical work for many years.

To know Mrs. Johnson was to love her. She was a loving mother, an amazing grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, and the very best “NENA” anyone could ask for.

Honoring Mrs. Johnson as pallbearers will be Matt Ward, Keith Ward, James Fowler, Joshua Buie, Bo McMillian, Jr., and Wayne Compton.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for donations to be made in Mrs. Johnson’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer's Association .
