Lou Ella Gwin

Funeral services celebrating the life of Lou Ella Gwin, 99, will be held Friday, February 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Leland Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport, Louisiana. The family will receive friends Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Rose-Neath.

Lou was born December 5, 1926, in Zenoria, Louisiana and went to her heavenly home on February 18, 2026, in Homer, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Howard Gwin and granddaughter, Sarah Munn.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Richardson (Lane) of Haughton and Sherry May (Adrian) of Athens, grandson, Chadd Munn, and great-grandchildren, Braeden, Conner, and Brooklynn
