SUMMERFIELD, LA: Graveside funeral services were held for Mrs. Maudine Gardner Cullins, 92, at the Olive Branch Cemetery, east of Junction City, Arkansas on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation was from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 405 E. 5th St., Homer, LA. Mrs. Cullins was born February 3, 1925 in Junction City, LA to James Henry Gardner and Louetta Sawyer Gardner. She entered into rest on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Leslie Lakes Retirement Center in Arcadia, LA following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Cullins was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer L. Cullins; one daughter, Eleanor Ann "Sookie" Cullins Pittman; one granddaughter, Tammy Colvin Hammons; one sister and three brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Colvin and Ronnie Roach of Summerfield; one sister, Sarah Haynes of Bernice; three granddaughters, Amie Colvin Perryman and husband, Stanley of Minden, LA, Deborah McLoud and husband, James of Harrison, Arkansas and Jeannine Hammett and husband, Eddie of Concord, North Carolina; six great grandchildren, Ryan Colvin, Dwain Ware, Cade William McLoud, Kylie Kay McLoud, Camille Ann Hammett and Gunnar Lee Hammett; one great-great-granddaughter, Kairi Ware; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. For friends considering memorials honoring Mrs. Cullins, her family suggests St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
