Lorraine Feldman Soffer

A graveside service for Lorraine Feldman Soffer (Laya bat Elka ve Yosef Leib) will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Agudath Achim Cemetery, at the corner of Walnut and Yale in Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rabbi Dr. Jana L. De Benedetti.

Lorraine was born on October 13, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Louis and Ella Feldman and passed away Monday, November 4, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Soffer; son, Steven Soffer and 11 brothers and sisters, Benjamin Herman, Harry Feldman, Gertrude Stoloff, Anne Bruner, Charles Feldman, Marvin Feldman, Jacob Feldman, Judith Gitlin, Saul Feldman, Emanuel Feldman and Lillian Kaufman. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Ellen Soffer and husband, Allen Organick; two grandchildren, Natan Organick and Eliot Organick and sister-in-law, Bernice Feldman.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
