Lones Paul (Buddy) Guillot, Jr.

A celebration of life for Mr. Lones Paul (Buddy) Guillot, Jr. will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 334 Acton Road, in Marksville, Louisiana, with Pastor Mark Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Cushman Cemetery, 230 Tarleton St. in Marksville, Louisiana. 

Lones Paul (Buddy) Guillot, Jr., age 64, entered into rest on June 2, 2023 at his home in Marksville. He was born on October 31, 1958 in Bunkie, Louisiana to Lones Guillot, Sr. and Elaine Desselle. 

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Lones Guillot, Sr. and Elaine Desselle; brothers, Kenneth and Billy Guillot. 

He is survived by his son, Joey Guillot, Sr. (Charlotte) of Marksville; daughters, Jessica Guillot-Dauzat (Galen) of Marksville, Jesse Chavers of Hessmer; Sister, Germaine Fitzgerald (Robert) of Marksville; 
seven grandchildren; Zoe, Zane, Macy, Lylah, J.J., Kayden and Nora, three step grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; Hadlee, Paisley and Denim, and four step great-grandchildren.
 
A visitation for Lones Paul (Buddy) Guillot, Jr. will be held on Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Marksville and will continue the following morning, June 8, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m
