Funeral services for Lola Mae Terral will be held Monday, October 7, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Chet Johnson officiating and Bro. Richard Methvin assisting. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery in Farmerville, Louisiana under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Lola Mae Terral, age 91, of Minden, met her Lord and Savior on October 4, 2019. She was born August 8, 1928 in England, Arkansas to Ervin and Willie Lunsford. Lola Graduated from Jena High School. She married the love of her life, Frank Terral in 1946, till death did they part. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, and grandmother. Lola was a member of Antioch Baptist Church for 61 years, where she worked as head of nursery department. For the past 11 years she was a member of Eastside Missionary Baptist Church. She lived in Dixie Inn for 73 years, where she was loved by all, young and old, second mother to so many. Lola loved to cook, sew and worked for many years at the voting polls. She was a matriarch of the family and the glue that held us together.
Lola was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank Terral, sons, Jerry Terral and Bobby Terral, daughters, Betty McCarthy and Wilma Brown, brothers, T.J., Odell, and Bobby Jo Lunsford, and special son-in-law, B.J. McDaniel.
Left to cherish her memories are sons, Larry and Keith Terral, daughters, Brenda McDaniel, Renee' Brogdon (Carl) of Minden, Katie Block (Ron) of Groves, Texas, sister, Melba Breithaupt (Bobby) of Buna, Texas, twenty-three grandchildren, numerous great and great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Jay Chapman, Cody Terral, Colter Terral, C.J. Brogdon, Parker Cupples, Jeff Cupples, and Wayne Young.
The family extends special thanks to God, all prayer warriors, and St. Joseph Hospice.
