Lola E. Butler

Funeral services for Lola E. Butler will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Whispering Pines Missionary Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Mike Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow at Whispering Pines Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time Friday. Lola was born February 28, 1956 in Huntington Park, California and entered into rest February 17, 2021 in Minden, Louisiana. Lola was a member of Whispering Pines Missionary Baptist church; she taught Sunday School for over 40 years and served the Lord in any and every capacity at the church; creativity was a favorite pastime; and she loved spending time with her grandbaby, Daisy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sydney and Dorothy Faircloth, and daughter, Holly Butler. She is survived by her husband, Mike Butler of Minden, son Jason Butler of Minden, daughters, Sheri Butler of Minden and Brandi Long and Justin of Keithville; sisters, Sheila Scott and Richard of Minden, Nola Mason and Charles of Heflin, and Marla Bourn and C.L. of Greenwood; brothers, Rodney Faircloth and Cora of Castor and Richard Faircloth of Many; one granddaughter, Daisy Long, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
