Lisa Carole Whittington

Funeral services for Lisa Carole Whittington, 55, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 25, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Reverend Paul Navarre officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in Keatchie, Louisiana. Lisa was born on December 17, 1963 to Bobby Vernon Deaton and Vivian Marie Addison Deaton in Memphis, Tennessee and went to be with the Lord and Savior on March 23, 2019. She was a compassionate nurse for 33 years and was loved by all her patients. She never met a stranger, always had a story to tell and never had an unkind word to say about anybody. Lisa had a love for Dachshunds especially her beloved Chloe and Macy Lou. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Deaton. Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her beloved husband of 12 years, Paul Whittington; mother, Vivian Deaton; daughters, Christi Smith and husband Justin, Holly Costanza and husband Chris; brother, Bo Deaton and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Noah Wasson, Gavin Costanza, Connor Costanza, Bennett Smith, Landry Costanza and Baker Smith and close cousin, Judy Wiggins. Honoring Lisa as pallbearers will be Chris Costanza, Justin Smith, Chad Arnold, Jerrald Deaton, Mike Wiggins and Jeremy Castleman.
