Lisa Carol Tackett

Funeral services for Lisa Carol Bird-Tackett, 58, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Dr. Howard Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the funeral home. Lisa was born June 30, 1960 in Charleston, WV and went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2018. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, James Bird; brother, Jimmy Lee Bird; husband, Steve Tackett; mother-in-law, Edna "Willa Dane" Tackett; brother-in-law, Rick Coppock; and stepfather, James Drake. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Dorma K. Drake; father-in-law, Bobby G. Tackett; sons, James Lee Tackett and wife Kristi, Bobby Wayne Tackett, and Steven Daniel Tackett and wife Chera; grandchildren, James Tackett, Jr., Haley Tackett, Christian Tackett, Steven Tackett, Jr., and Annabelle Tackett; sister, Nena Hobbs and husband Randy; brother, Scott Bird and wife April; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Tackett and Anita Tackett; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family. Honoring Lisa as pallbearers will be Michael Seymour, Zach Taute, Bobby Williams, Tracy Williams, Buddy Tackett, and Chandler Tackett. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Sarah Cannon Cancer Center in Nashville, TN.
