Funeral services for Linda Sue Boyd will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Rose-Neath Bossier Chapel. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Corinth Cemetery, Dubach, LA. Linda Sue Boyd was born Oct 30, 1947 to Lee "Bud" Williams and Lottie Muriel Davis Williams. After the death of "Bud" when she was 2 years old, Jewel Calendar stepped up to fulfill the duties of father in Linda's childhood family. Linda filled her life with family and friends. She married young and had two children with her first husband Albert "Travis" Mitchell. Following her other subsequent marriages, she lived the last 22 years as the wife and partner of Eulan "Mike" Boyd. Her career history was also varied. Her greatest calling was that of wife, mother and homemaker. Her cooking skills and love for animals were well recognized as part of her charm. She was a woman with a passionate and fierce nature and she will be missed in many ways. She passed on June 16th, 2018 while in long term care at Heritage Manor South in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Kenneth Williams, and Eulan "Mike" Boyd. She is survived by her brothers Robert Lee and Gerald Williams and their families. Also by her children: Susan "Samantha" Ford and her husband William, Albert "Travis" Mitchell and his wife Janice, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
