Linda Ruth Brown Berry

A graveside service for Linda Ruth Brown Berry, 64, of Bethany, Louisiana, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Smith Cemetery in Center, Texas. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Gordon Vaughn. Linda was born on January 29, 1957 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Joseph and Frances Brown and passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021. Linda lived in Baker, Louisiana, Monroe, Louisiana, Ponchatoula, Louisiana and settled in Bethany, Louisiana for her last 36 years. She graduated from Ponchatoula High School in 1975. Upon graduation, she attended University of Louisiana at Monroe where she met her husband, Philip Berry. They married in 1976 at Southern Methodist Church in Hammond, Louisiana. Together, they ran Action Electric. Linda enjoyed sewing, watching movies and gardening in her free time. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Daryl Brown. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Philip Hugh Berry; her daughters, Jennifer Erin Kordisch and husband, Erich and Kristin Laura Boudreau and husband, Mark; four grandchildren, Alex Boudreau, Kinsley Boudreau, Luke Kordisch and Chase Kordisch and two brothers, Gary Brown and Keith Brown.
