Linda Kaye McDonald Nussman

Funeral services celebrating the life of Linda Kaye McDonald Nussman, 79, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 943 Polk Street, Mansfield, Louisiana with Bro. Danny Asbell officiating. Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at funeral home.

Linda was born on September 9, 1946, in Sabine Parish, Louisiana to John Wilson McDonald, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Lowe and passed away December 14, 2025, in Frierson, Louisiana.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and John McDonald, Sr.; husband Herman “Pop” Nussman; son, Morris Rowland; daughter, Doddie Kemper; brothers, John McDonald Jr. and Richard Booker; and sisters, Mary Canipe, and Gaynell May.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Sonny Nussman (Robin), Jay Baker (Kathy), and Wilson Baker (Trish); daughters, Sarah Murphy (Billy), Edie Nussman, and Mary McDonald (Bradley); brothers, Jackie Dale Booker, Johnny Ray Booker, Roland Booker, and Earl Booker, 23 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren along with a special sister-in-law and friend, Jackie Booker.

Honoring Linda as pallbearers will be Wade Baker, Solon Nussman, Buddy Baker, Shane Sanders, Tucker Brewster, Mike Mathis, Casey Kennedy, and Ian Vines.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Johnny Hickingbottom, Thomas Wadsworth, Jerry Neely, and Dustin Poole.
