Linda Lou Lafitte

Funeral services for Linda Lafitte, 78, will be held at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel on August 12, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Dale Walker officiating. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery in Mira, Louisiana after services. Linda was born on May 30, 1940 in Plain Dealing, Louisiana to Frank O. Impson and Minnie Jackson Impson and left to be with her Lord and Savior on August 9, 2018. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. Linda was preceded by her beloved husband of 50 years, James C. Lafitte Sr., her parents and her brother, Eldridge Franklin Impson. Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her son, James Carlton Lafitte Jr. and wife Linda Jackson Lafitte; grandchildren, James Lafitte III and wife Christie Lafitte, John Lafitte Sr. and wife Shala, Amy Lafitte Pool and husband Jeff Pool; great-grandchildren, John John, Peyton, Elijah, Carly and numerous family members and friends who loved her very much. Honoring Linda as pallbearers will be John Lafitte Sr., James Lafitte III, Jeff Pool, Keric Hammock, Paul Rinkle and Chase Dawson. Honorary pallbearers will be John John. Family wants to give a special thanks to the staff at The Oaks of Louisiana for all their love and care.
