Linda Kay Moore Morgan

Funeral services for Linda Kay Moore Morgan, 82, will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Keithville, 6295 Williams Rd., Keithville, Louisiana. Burial will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Pastor Mike Stowell will officiate the funeral.

Linda was born on October 10, 1943 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Rufas Augustus Moore and O'dell Augusta Douglas Moore and passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026 in Shreveport.

Linda was a graduate of Byrd High School, Class of '61 and Centenary College. She worked for the Board of Realtors from the time she was 17 years old and retired in 2012. She volunteered with Habitat For Humanity, the St. Jude Dream Home, and was a member of the Rotary Club and Northwest Louisiana Association of Realtors and Women's Association of Realtors.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John David Moore; sons, Robert Alan Moore, and Stephen Douglas Moore; and granddaughter, Chelsea Kay Moore. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jimmy Ray Morgan; daughter, Laura Ann Moore Booles; grandchildren, David Christian Moore, Chloe Elise Robbins, Keagan Booles; Douglas Moore, and Lexii Smith.

Honoring Linda as pallbearers are Joel Smith, Shannon Thornton, Tim Tipton, Lee R. Booles, Frank Haltom, and Sable Morgan.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
