Linda Emfinger Gathright

A funeral service honoring the life of Linda Emfinger Gathright will be held at 12:00 p.m. February 27, 2020, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Drive, Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation with the family will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service in the chapel. Officiating the service will be Deacon Larry Mills. Interment will immediately follow the service at Rocky Mount Cemetery, Rocky Mount, Bossier Parish, Louisiana. Linda Emfinger Gathright was born September 5, 1955 in Vicksburg, Mississippi to parents, Gracie Whitaker and Oscar Melvin Emfinger, Sr. and passed away peacefully Sunday, February 23, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana where she lived most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Amy Michele Clopton and Lydia Kay Gathright and brothers, Oscar M. Emfinger, Jr. and Michael Emfinger. Honoring Linda as pallbearers will be Tommy Souter, Michael Cook, Jerry Morris, Sam Heable, Sid McKinney and Shawn Smith.
