Linda Frances Lopez

Funeral services for Linda Frances Lopez, 77, will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Rev. Dennis Sims. Burial will follow at Prewitt\'s Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck, Louisiana with a graveside service at 2:00 officiated by Rev. Wayne Chance. Linda was born on December 12, 1944 to William Leach and Mary Minia West Kinkennon in Many, Louisiana and passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. Linda was a resident of Shreveport. She worked as a control cashier at the Department of Motor Vehicles in California before retiring and moving to Shreveport. She enjoyed playing on the computer and doing all kinds of puzzles and crossword puzzles of which she had many. She loved her family, friends and her church where she was a member of Ellerbe Road Baptist Church. Linda is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse Lopez; sons, Bryan Lopez and Kenneth Lopez; and granddaughter, Angela Cruz. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Debbie Lopez and husband, Manuel; grandchildren, Tony Cruz and wife, Melissa; great-grandchildren, Danny Martinez, Julianna Lawrence, Noah Cruz, Isabella Cruz; great-great grandchild, Jhene Martinez; sister, Betty Kinkennon; brother, Ivan Kinkennon, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
