A funeral service for Linda “Toni” Estes, 76, will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Burial will follow at Rose-neath Cemetery in Bossier City. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Officiating the service will be Cheryl Nelson.
Toni was born on June 12, 1949, to Loren and Meta Garber in Indianapolis, Indiana, and passed away in her home on Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Benton, Louisiana.
Toni was a woman of quiet strength, compassion, and devotion. She married the love of her life, Bob, on June 6, 1968, and together they shared a life built on love, laughter, and family. Their greatest joy was their daughter, Chrissi.
Throughout her career, Toni served others with grace and dedication. She worked as an Administrative Secretary at Evergreen House, later as an Administrative Assistant at Evergreen Presbyterian, and eventually as a social worker with Community Bridges. Her work reflected her deep care for people and her commitment to making a difference.
Toni found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved puzzles and reading, and she adored her two fur babies, Mindy and Archie, whom she spoiled with affection and treats. Her home was filled with warmth, comfort, and the sound of happy paws.
Above all, Toni cherished time with her family. Whether gathered around the table or sharing quiet moments together, those connections meant everything to her.
Toni will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Toni was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Estes; parents, Loren and Meta Garber; and sister, Pat Worley. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Chrissi Middleton; sister-in-law, Terri Cox, and husband, Joe Cox; nieces, Ashley Contreras and Amber Richards of Burkburnett, Texas, and four great-nieces.
Honoring Toni as pallbearers will be John Baker, Joe Cox, Billy Overly, and Gene Peacock.
The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, www.stjude.org.
