Lilly Myrtis Holtzclaw

Lilly Myrtis Holtzclaw, age 98, of Shreveport, LA passed away December 8, 2017 at Garden Park Nursing Home. Mrs. Holtzclaw was born September 18, 1919 in Choudrant, LA. She is a member of Calvary Baptist Church and former member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. She loved life, and everyone that came around her she loved like family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph Holtzclaw. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Randy Holtzclaw (Reba) and Don Holtzclaw (Kay); two grandchildren, Jason Holtzclaw and Lacey Holtzclaw Buccola (Brad); and two great-grandchildren, Beaux Holtzclaw and Kallyn Holtzclaw. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Forest Park East Cemetery with Pastor Steve Gilley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Open Range Ministries, Greenwood, LA or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family of Myrtis Holtzclaw would like to thank Garden Park for the wonderful care they gave our mother. The staff and nurses went out of their way with love, compassion, and care.
