Lillian Katy Ross

Funeral services for Lillian Katy Gant Ross, 81, will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 29th, 2019 at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home with Pastor George DeDual officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday, April 28th, 2019. Interment will follow funeral services at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. On Friday, April 26th, 2019 Lillian Katy Gant Ross entered into her heavenly rest. She passed away after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked in the kitchen at the academy. Her favorite jobs were being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She never met a stranger and every one was a friend. Lillian was preceded her husband, Scriven Ross and her parents, Prince Edwin Gant and Daisy Middleton Gant. Lillian is survived by her three children; daughter, Lillian DaLu Tubbs of Shreveport; sons, Scriven P. "Butch" Ross II and wife Joanna Ross of Keithville and Steven Paul Ross of Shreveport; sister, Margaret Barnhill of Cleveland, Tx; grandchildren, Michael Ross, Jessica Sullivan, Kristina Ivey, Jason Ivey, Sammy Willis and three great-grandchildren. Honoring Lillian as pallbearers will be Wilson Abner, David Mitchem, David Kerley, Andy Lynch, Steven Jackson and Travis Ruggles. Family would like to give a special thanks to Willis-Knighton Hospice, Dr. Tim Nichols, WKN nurses in 5 west; Annie Julie an Cheryl.
