Levader “Vader” Ann Ross Richardson, age 71, was born in Jonesboro, LA, on July 17, 1952,  to Fred “Jack” and Zahlia P. Dean Ross. She entered into rest at her home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in Homer, LA. Vader liked to garden, float in the pool or lake, and fish wherever she could wet a line. She loved her little puppy, “Baby Girl.” Vader enjoyed living the country life and connecting with nature.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom P. Richardson, Jr. ; two sisters, Patricia Manilla Ponder and Elfreda Gatlin; two brothers, James Wesley Ross and Theron Dyson Ross; and son-in-law, Jackie Roy Kindrix.

She is survived by her two sons, Bradley Shane Barton and fiance, Shileen of Big Springs, KY and Bob Richardson and wife Kristi of Graham, WA; daughter, Candice Kindrix of West Monroe, LA; two sisters, Sue Folden of Winnfield, LA and Sharon Bell and husband Lonnie of Quitman, LA: five grandchildren, Graedin Kindrix, Lawren Barton, Tristen Barton, Haylea Pendleton and Bella Richardson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A graveside service was held for “Vader,” at Antioch Cemetery in Homer, LA, on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., Dr. Chris Stephens, officiated. Visitation was on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Homer, LA, from 5-7 p.m.
