Leonard Loper LaFitte, Jr.

Keithville, LA- Funeral services for Leonard Loper LaFitte, Jr., 94, will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Keithville on Williams Road. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with interment following at the First Baptist Church Cemetery. Leonard was born June 21, 1923 in Stonewall, LA to Leonard and Regina LaFitte, Sr. He went to see The Lord on November 11, 2017. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 71 years, Dorothy LaFitte; son, Larry Leonard LaFitte; and daughter Linda Elisabeth LaFitte. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Ronald of Keithville and his children Brian, Shannon, Gregory and Lindsey. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Pam LaFitte and granddaughter Lauren LaFitte Marchall of Baton Rouge. There are six great-grandchildren. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Charles Williams, Henry Richardson, Ragan Fair, Mike Penneywell, Jimmy Penneywell, and Brandon Bruce. Paul Sicilia will serve as honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Keithville or donor's choice.
