Lenora Jane Turner Wade passed away on March 26,2021 at the age of 86. Jane was a lifelong teacher and caregiver of all she encountered never missing an opportunity to talk, even if she did not know you.
She was the ultimate cheerleader for her family and friends always there for football games, lake/beach trips and major life events making them special with thoughtful gestures and decorations. After graduating from Centenary College, she taught in Caddo Parish before raising her family. She went back to teaching after her children were older and found her dream job of teaching hands-on, out-of-the-box thinking to children in Discoveries Unlimited at Riverside Elementary. She loved conducting experiments and finding new ways to engage children in learning. She will be greatly missed by all who experienced her love and attention.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Dick Wade; her parents Lenora and Ernest Turner; beloved brother, Tom Turner; nephew, Stevie Turner; in-laws Olive and Walter Wade; sister-in- law, Jean Alexander; brother-in-laws, Ronnie Alexander, and Larry Wynn.
