Leland D. Allums

Shreveport, LA- Graveside services honoring the life of Mr. Leland D. Allums 84, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd, Keithville, LA. Mr. Allums was born October 4, 1935 in East Point, LA to Mae and Paul Allums. He passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 in Shreveport, LA. Mr. Allums proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. His hobbies included fishing and working in his yard. Most of all, he was a beloved father, grandfather and friend. Mr. Allums was preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years, Anne; and his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Debra Harms and husband Tim; two grand-daughters, Nicole Younger and Emily Harms; three great grand-daughters, Sam, Abbigayle and Iszabelle; and in-laws, Gayle and Gerald Cantley their children Kathy Johnson and husband Doug, Vicky Gould and husband Jimmy, and Mike Cantley and wife Kathy.
