Lee Royce Peak, 89, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 31, 2026 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Lee was born August 2,1936 in Shreveport to William Royce Peak and Kate Allen Peak. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 7970 Mike Clark Rd. in Keithville, Louisiana.
Lee was a proud resident of Frierson, Louisiana, and a deeply patriotic man who devoted his life to serving others. He spent 21 years in the United States Army, working at both the Pentagon and Walter Reed Hospital in the Dental Division in Washington, D.C. His dedication, talent, and remarkable organizational skills made him an invaluable presence everywhere he served.
Hard‑working and generous, Lee carried his Christian faith into every part of his life. He touched people with his kindness, his steady spirit, and his willingness to help whenever he was needed. Those who knew him remember a man of integrity, humility, and quiet strength.
While he is no longer here, his legacy lives on in the lives he shaped and the love he shared. His family takes comfort in knowing he is now reunited with loved ones in heaven, held in the peace he so deeply believed in.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Baby Merry Peak; sister, Nell Seeger and her husband, Tom; son, John Royce Peak; and Shirley's parents, J.C. and Evelyn Price.
Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life for 35 years, his wife, Shirley Peak; daughters, Jeanna Phelps and husband, Cal; Stephanie Peters, and Mindy Dupre; son, Richard Peters and wife, Ann; daughter-in-law, Cindy Peak; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lee will be terribly missed, but he will forever live on in our hearts.
