Memorial service honoring the life of Mr. Lawrence Warwick, Sr. will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at New Bethel Cemetery in Arcadia. His brother Charles M. Warwick, Jr. will preside over the service.
Lawrence “POPS” was born April 14, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Charles M. Warwick, Sr. and Anna Lorraine Babcock Warwick. He entered into rest on June 6, 2025, at the North West Louisiana War Veteran’s Home in Bossier City. Lawrence proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Army. He served in the Viet Nam War. After his service in the military, Lawrence worked in the Oilfield as a rig mechanic. He was a proud member of the American Legion. He also loved fishing and hunting. To all his friends, he was known as POPS. He was a fiercely loyal and generous friend. He loved deeply those most dear to him.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his wife and mother to his son Joanna Warwick, wife Dottie Sue Warwick, his parents Charles and Lorraine Warwick, sister Margaret Susan Warwick.
Left to cherish his memories: son Larry Warwick, brother and sister-in-law Martin and Rita Warwick, nieces, Susan (Max) Burbach, Karlyn (Brian) Knieriem, nephew, Scott (Jennifer) Warwick, many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephew along with close family friends Scotty Miller, Anne Wager and so many more.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northwest Louisiana Veterans Home or Webster Parish Men of Courage.
