Logansport, LA--Funeral services for Larry "Snuffy" Smith, 69, of Logansport will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Logansport. The Rev. Frankie Mathis, pastor of the Cornerstone Cowboy Church in Logansport, will be officiating. The burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Logansport. The family will receive friends for visitation, Friday, August 17, 2018 from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport. Larry was the son of the Floyd Smith and Dorothea Wheeland Smith, he was born September 21, 1948 in San Augustine, TX and passed away August 16, 2018 in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, and his brother, Kenneth Floyd Smith. Larry worked in the poultry industry in all aspects. He was a friend to many and was always willing to help someone out. He loved his family, LSU football, hunting, and fishing. He will be truly missed by many. Those left to cherish his memory; his wife of 48 years, Sarah Smith; sons, Mark and wife Heather Smith and Dustin Smith; daughter, Kimberly Wooten-Hill and husband Lyn; mother, Dot Smith; grandchildren, Todd Allen Smith and wife Courtney, Joshua Wayne Smith, Bailey Katherine Wooten, Banks Westin Wooten and Blakelyn True Tucker Weatherly and numerous nephews and nieces.
