Larry Eugene Richardson

Graveside services for Larry Eugene Richardson, 76, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Doyline Cemetery in Doyline, LA. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Rose-Neath Southside. Larry was born February 10, 1942 in Shreveport, LA and went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2018 in Houston, TX. An Army veteran who bravely served three years in Vietnam, Larry later went on to work for Mosler Safe Co. for 37 years. His greatest contribution, however, was his endless love, optimism, and dedication he gave to his wife, four daughters, and ten grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Madelyn Richardson. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn Chapel Richardson; daughters, Penny Johnson (Doug), Jackie Rombough (Rob), Gwen Swearingen (Shane), and Sheila Feazel (Mark); sister, Sherry Richardson Evans; brothers and best friends, Mark Richardson (Cheri) and Coy Ronald Chapel; and ten grandchildren. He is also mourned by his loving nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Cody Swearingen, Ryan Swearingen, Davis Johnson, Cavett Feazel, Cooper Feazel, and Fabian Chapel. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Richardson and Matt Richardson.
