MANY, LA -- A funeral Mass celebrating the life of Larry Gene Parrie, 68, will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 5, 2018 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Ebarb, Louisiana. Father Richard Norsworthy will be officiating. Interment will follow in St. Ann Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Chapel in Many, Louisiana from 4:00 PM Thursday, October 4, 2018. A Rosary service will be held at 6:00 PM after visitation.
Larry was born on October 27, 1949 in Converse, Louisiana to Louis Parrie Jr. and Marguerite R. Parrie, and passed away October 2, 2018 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Desiree Troquille Parrie. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Pamela Ba-Lee Parrie and Shannon Gladem; his sisters Sandra L. Sepulvado and husband Doyle, and Karan R. Montgomery and husband Donald; grandson Michael Holley; nephews and nieces Eric D. Parrie, Lynsi Meshell, Avaree Parrie, Sean Montgomery, and Sydney Montgomery; and great-nephew and niece Nickolas and Jorja Parrie.
Honoring Larry as pallbearers will be Allen Ebarb, Kevin Ebarb, Pat Parrie, Robert Sepulvado, Joseph Escott, and Gilbert Paree.
