Larry Dean Medford

Larry Dean Medford, 78, passed away in Shreveport LA on April 16, 2025. Born on April 4, 1947, to the late Ed and Helen Medford of Brinkley AR, Larry lived a life of service and care for people around him.

Larry was a graduate of Brinkley High School and Arkansas State University. Throughout his career, Larry served his community as a teacher, and he also excelled in rice marketing and farm management. His skills as a master carpenter later in life were well-known and he took great pride in his craftsmanship.

Larry is survived by his wife of 21 years, Toni Seago Medford and his sister, Bobbi (J.R.) DeBusk of Alma AR. He was a devoted father to Grant Medford (Jennifer) of Bowling Green, KY, Clay Medford (Christie) of Marvel, AR, Ami Hopkins (Zach) of Newport, AR, Jason (Tiffany) Miciotto of Bossier City, LA, and Melissa Riley of Gulf Shores, AL. He was cherished by his 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will dearly miss him.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Helen Medford, and his brother, Chuck Medford of Berryville, AR.
