Larry Wayne departed this life for his heavenly home on Thursday, December 10, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Mr. Liverman was a native of Port Arthur, Texas. He was a Godly man, he always placed his faith, family and friends ahead of his own needs. He left a loving legacy of service to his parents, deceased Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Liverman. A graduate of the University of Alabama, he worked for Walmart Corporate for many years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Shreveport for many years.
The family has so many wonderful memories of Larry, as the faithful brother who assisted his parents closely in their declining years. He left a loving legacy of service and love to all his family. A solid and strong faith in God, his Savior Jesus, he lived to be of service to others and fulfill the first and great commandment of His Lord, "Which is the great commandment of the law? Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." Matthew 22:36-39. Another of his favorite verses was John 3:16-18 and John 11:25, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." His favorite hymn, Amazing Grace, will be sung by the family at the graveside service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Liverman of Shreveport, LA.
