BENTON, LA - Funeral services for Larry D. Lenington-Taylor., will be 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Evan Semanco of the Simple Church. Interment will follow at Rose-Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2016 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City. Larry was born January 19, 1982 in Tyler, TX and died February 12, 2017 in Benton, LA. He was employed as a HVAC Tech with Poston Heating and Air. Larry was a member of the Simple Church. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lucy Phillips. Larry is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 10 years, Leslie Lenington-Taylor; children, Colton, Oubree and Lucie Lenington-Taylor, all of Benton, LA; parents, Mike and Molly Taylor of Arp, TX; sisters, Jennifer Lenington Alvarez of TX and Brenda Lenington Adams of Arlington, TX; mother-in-law, Lucy Clayton of Benton, LA; father-in-law, Jimmy Pogue and wife, Susan; sisters-in-law, Jamie Pogue of The Woodlands, TX, Kelly Vernon and husband, Philip of Benton, LA, Nancy Primm and husband, Victor and numerous nieces and nephews he adored. Serving as pallbearers will be, Bradon Autry, Mike Taylor, Philip Vernon, Trenton Baumeister, Christian Lenington and Jimmy Pogue. Larry touched the lives of everyone he met with his contagious humor, kind heart and selflessness.
