Lara Daylan Lyons

Lara Daylan Lyons was born on February 28, 1970 and passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025.

She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Couch; children, Connor Johnston Lyons, Sadie Ann Lyons, and William Braxton Lyons and the father of her children, William Howard Lyons.

She was fun, outgoing, charismatic, social, hilarious and loving. She never met a stranger. She was a teacher for over 15 years. She loved exploring the outdoors in Louisiana and Colorado. She earned her masters degree and was a Reading Specialist. To know her was to love her and she will truly be missed.

A private family memorial will be held Sunday, June 15, 2025.

The family invites you to join a balloon release at Mansfield High School, 401 Kings Hwy, Mansfield, Louisiana on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. There will be a plaque placed in her honor.
