A memorial service for Lamar Hope Clack, Jr. will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Lamar was born on January 22, 1962, to Lamar Hope Clack, Sr., and Sandra Jean Williams Clack in Newport, Rhode Island, and passed away Monday, May 20, 2024 in Baytown, Texas.
Lamar had a fulfilling career spanning 15 years in real estate and 17 years as an owner-operator. Known for his caring nature, Lamar always prioritized taking care of others. His love for his family, especially his grandchildren, was in the countless memories they shared together.
Apart from his professional achievements and dedication to his loved ones, Lamar had a passion for LSU football. If he wasn’t watching football, you could find him fishing. Lamar will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Lamar is preceded in death by his father, Lamar Clack, Sr; mother, Sandra Williams McGregor; stepfather, Richard McGregor, and stepmother, Carla Clack. He is survived by his son, Lamar Clack III; daughters, Katie Clack, Tiffani Clack, and Tascha Clack; granddaughters, Katherine Allen, Kaylee Compton, Cali Compton, Jordan Clack, Brooke Clack and Shelly Willard; grandsons, Devin Allen, Garrett Allen, Kayden Allen, John Nathan Clack, and Thomas Arrant, and son-in-law, Steven Compton.
Honoring Lamar as honorary pallbearers will be Elmer Fontenot, Tyler Gorman, MJ Johnson and Steven Compton.
