Kristina "NiNi" Nicole Bodie

Kristina “NiNi” Nicole Bodie, 42, of Haughton, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. A lifelong resident of Haughton and graduate of Haughton High School’s Class of 2000, Kristina was known for her vibrant spirit, compassionate heart, and infectious laughter.

She is survived by her loving parents, Janice Adel O’Nishea-Burge and David Wayne O’Nishea; her brothers, Eric O’Nishea (wife, Amanda, and children, Madyson, Aiden, Aaron, McKenzie, and Bristol) and Josh O’Nishea (wife, Jessica, and children, Seth, Izabelle, Satchel, and Benjamin); and her grandmother, Corinne Wesemann

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Ervaine O’Nishea; Jim Wesemann; Lonnie and Vernor Burge.

For the past seven years, Kristina worked alongside her sister-in-law Jessica as a childcare

provider, where she poured her heart into nurturing and caring for countless children, something she did with unmatched love and joy. Known for her loud voice, even louder laugh, and a heart as big as her smile, Kristina devoted her life to making others feel loved and seen.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Haughton Fellowship Hall.
